Chalk Mother

Inspired by a true story. An orphan girl draws her mother on the floor of an orphanage in Iraq. Then she takes off her shoes and lays on the design to be able to feel the love of his mother dead in the Iraq war. Other orphaned girls do the same and then all dream of their mothers.

Elephant on the moon

Paris by night. It's storming, and raining a lot. A lightning falls on a handicapped traffic sign. Because of the electricity, the 20cm white guy in the wheelchair has felt on the ground and becomes alive. After a long suffering, He decides go on the moon by stolen balloon.

Swarm

This film is about farmers who could not protect their crops in the harvest season from the locust swarms who ate all the crops. They had to set it on fire, forced to burn their crops because of this unwelcome insect during the harvest season.

Stamped

In a grand library, the tiny gnome librarian, Giles, stamps the few books he has left to get through the night. Giles attempts to stamp the last book when it comes to life and dodges his attempts. Mischievous as the book is, it swallows the stamp and runs away with it commencing a chase sequence with Giles that ends with his life in danger.

AM-FM

Two characters life stories are presented across a radio timeline on the AM and FM frequencies. Their lives are depicted from birth to death together and apart. As time passes the dial moves freely from left to right and right to left across the timeline to different narrative moments. The characters stories are told in a non-linear way and correspond to objects from an old suitcase that features within the film. As each object from the suitcase is revealed a section of the characters story is presented on screen

Thomas Hicks

British director, graduated from Kingston University in 2004 with a degree in Illustration. In 2016, completed an MA in Animation at the University of the Creative Arts in Farnham, England, directed many films and participated in more than 60 festivals in Russia, Australia, etc..
